There is no fighting the laws of physics. And the irony is unbelievable.
So, E=mc2. Without getting into the speed of light and all that... basically it says that energy has matter and matter has energy--they're transmutable.
This is not one of those new theories that, if you think good thoughts, good things will be attracted to you. This is about serious physics and how we manipulate our physical world every day... this is what Einstein was telling us. A miracle is just something we can't explain yet. But we literally live in a world of them. Among the many ironies... the same fundamentalists that don't want us to study real science, as it is not "of the Bible"-- there are now real scientists that think the universe could only have been created at a specific time, by God. There is not yet proof, but one day there could be.
This is all about pure physics. The Founding Fathers had the country so charged, in a positive way, that anyone who tried to stop them had no chance.
The negative side...people who don't want physics taught in our schools, just for starters, claim that the helpless people of Haiti deserved it... ohhh, we can win this, we are the good guys, and by far we can spread and create more joy.
So, the brain has a bit of electrical activity and it's either positive or negative and it moves. It's like the weather. A horrible weather storm is to correct an imbalance in nature. It's destructive. Haiti just had a horrible imbalance corrected. So when we think, when we act, we release something negative or positive. If it gets too negative there must be a correction. So much negative, from so many directions is hurting us.
It's not that they President can make a speech, with or without a prompter, it is not that he can answer questions--he is hope. He will not give up hope no matter what we say about him or do, or spew into the world. This President is the essence of what it is to be positive. When he is frustrated, when he is mad at the idiocy and lying of the republicans, he is inviting, he is asking them to stop and create good.
Liberals do not ruin lives. We are feminists, we have all the best men because of their humanity, their innate decency. We create, we do not destroy. But when thousands of negatives are released, they have real world consequences, physical consequences. You can't fight nature. As passionately as you mean them, in the end, fear, anger, meanness, spite are simply left as energy. The words long gone. In the end we are leaving the same mark on nature as any Limbaugh or Beck. We are not them. Beck, the ultimate crying victim-- we cannot be them anymore. It's time to be angry and get to work in the most positive way imaginable.
The measure of a man and a woman is how they react to adversity. They can begin to create or destroy. They do not blame. They refuse victimhood. They take the responsibility. They take the situation and they change it. They don't request that it be changed, they don't complain when it's not, they change it. They say all of the words they need to say. Said in passion and said with hope, said with determination, and said under control, with responsibility, with a duty to see what is done through, they are the most powerful physical forces on earth.
And then we have Democracy. Freedom. We cannot live without freedom. We have known it too long, we have taken it for granted, waiting for Bush to pass. It is time to tell the world exactly what he did. He almost destroyed every hope we had to survive. But, then you created a miracle. And that miracle will govern all of us. He is hope for all and he is right to be.
Anyone can pay millions, billions, they can pay but that only destroys. Businesses are not in business, ultimately, to destroy. They need us. We don't need them. They need to get people into jobs--we need to show them. Without jobs people cannot spend. A few well placed words, from the people who write here alone, will change everything. We have so much power it's frightening. We have been afraid of it and it shows. We elected a candidate for change. But we cannot shove him into the den of thieves alone.
Last night I heard one of our House Leaders (no more calling names of the good guys) ask why the President hasn't weighed in on healthcare. Has one of us stood up in front of millions of viewers and said "only the public option is right?" I saw the President do it at least ten times. But the President is nothing if not a strategist. If he makes them create it--they can say no, or they can create it. No is pretty negative...
And it is time. We can commit to ourselves, we can commit as a group, but we must commit. We must write every day. Letters to the editor are best. They should say:
-make your Senator deliver jobs
-make your Senator insure that when republicans tear up medicare you have something
-make sure that when the republicans try to invest your Social Security in the stock market there is some standing up to say NO
We must pound on the fact that positive answers must be found for these programs. The republicans are planning to move or reduce them. They have grandmothers too. Don't they care about anyone?
This is just a beginning. We must frame it our way. We are liberals. We don't let children starve, we don't take away birth control so that women can't work, we help, we don't hurt, and if you are a liberal, if you are a true liberal, progressive, Democrat, you don't desert your best hope. We must tell the world who we are, why we are here to rescue them, and how we can do it together.
Have you ever had anyone say anything against you? Over and over have they said the worst about you? How does it make you feel. He loves us anyway. The President understands our frustration and he truly cares. He's not a God. He's not a king. He has offered to lead the fight for us. But we must follow and we must point out what is important to the other side, and it is not the people.
The United States is here today because of a man who used physics at it's most elegant. The first thing he thought about when he woke in the morning was freedom. He thought about it all day, he talked about it, he wrote, he went one by one, he had very little to work with but the power of his own brain. God, what a fearsome weapon. What a horrific force of nature to release against them. James Madison, our fourth President, the father of the Constitution, the Bill of rights, and a defender of the absolute separation of church and state. He waited, with the patriots, until they came. It is time for us to get to work. There are here. The shame of abandoning who we are would be unbearable. He was our father. We must again fight those who steal from us.
Truth has been missing. Truth, positive force and the grandure of a simple single idea, the idea of freedom will hit them with the gale force wind needed to right the imbalance of nature. The man wore a wig, he was not particularly clean, he was one of twelve children and not immediately a man who would be thought of as the father of our Constitution, the author of the first ten amendments, the author of how church state separation is the a mainstay of our new nation.
There is too much venom in our political discourse. It is hurting our position. We cannot win hearts and souls with anger. We must win them by being liberals, glorious, happy, comforting, caring, who we are, liberals. We can say what we want, but just as we have pointed out that no one gets criticized for getting something done (the Lilly Ledbetter Act), people do get criticism for not doing anything.
We cannot be them. Far from helping the lazy (that makes me sick) we are eliminating crime. By seeing that children are brought up in loving homes that have the basics we are helping to eliminate child abuse. We should be more than proud. We are human, we have empathy, we were what our species was intended to be. It is the very meaning of life and that is what we must spread.
This is not to say that anger cannot have positive consequences. It is very good that President Obama is showing some anger at things that are unjust, unfair, not legal, manipulative, I could go on and on, but we'll just call it republican congress. Talk about a passive aggressive group. Why not let the Democrats run things while they all go to therapy.
And negative delivers-- Fear. The religious leaders who are, in reality terrorists, were quite leveled by the election of President Obama who went to their manipulative prayer breakfast and had the nerve to challenge them face to face. Taking on their false god. Well. Well. Those real scientists that could find there is a real God--they were non believers--humanists. But they've looked beyond the big bang, and what they saw is shaking them to the core. They can't explain what they're seeing at this point--but it is a place where matter, and our math, ceases to work as it does on earth.
But I still worry about our physics. You see, Einstein didn't get a lot of respect from some scientists because he wasn't much of a mathematician. But he had one thing that few people had. Concentration. He could look at an object for hours at a time and ponder what made it work. He could concentrate on one problem for eight years. He never gave up. That is the best thing anyone can learn from Einstein. Don't stop until you've got it.
